Biogeochemical modelling at DFO : overview and recommendations of the biogeochemical modelling working group / Diane Lavoie, Corinne Bourgault-Brunelle, David Brickman, Olivia Gibb, Thomas Guyondet, Andrea...Fs97-18/388E-PDF

"Biogeochemical modelling systems can aid in the interpretation of changes observed in biogeochemical observational programs and uncover linkages between biogeochemical and physical spatial patterns. Biogeochemical models can also support the development of an ecosystem approach to marine resource management, adaptation to climate change, and the development of a blue economy. Thus, biogeochemical modelling is bound to play a key role in research, advice, service, and decision-making within Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO)"--Abstract, page vii.
