Survey on the official language minority population : user guide, 2022 (2025 revisions).: CS89-657/2025-2E-PDF
"The Survey on the Official Language Minority Population (SOLMP) was conducted by Statistics Canada in 2022 with the cooperation and support of Canadian Heritage. It is a postcensal survey of the English-speaking population in Quebec and the French-speaking population elsewhere in Canada. Questions were designed to assess changes in the official language minority populations since 2006, when a similar survey (Survey on the Vitality of Official-Language Minorities [SVOLM]) was conducted by Statistics Canada, and to provide new information on emerging issues regarding these minority populations. The survey includes two broad samples: one for adults belonging to the official language minority population, and another composed of children who either have a parent belonging to an official language minority population or are themselves eligible for instruction in the minority official language"--Survey description, page 5.
