Erosion resistance of cohesive sediments / by A.J. Zeman.En36-539/103-1982E-PDF

"In order to clarify the mechanism of subaerial and subaqueous erosion, it is desirable to quantify the relative intensity of hydrodynamic forces vis-à-vis some measure of the resistance of sediments undergoing erosion. This resistance to erosion is frequently referred to as the erodibility, although the term has, as yet, no well-defined technical connotation"--Introduction.
