Global review of current practices in HIV surveillance.: HP40-381/2025E-PDF
"Canada has the capacity to improve its national HIV surveillance. Describing the national state of the epidemics and being able to make cross-jurisdictional comparisons can help better appraise epidemics, monitor gaps in the local responses, and allocate greater resources to priority areas and groups of individuals. Ultimately, stronger surveillance data can help refocus activities on impact to achieve our goal of HIV elimination as a public health threat"--page 11.
