"As a result of an air pollution episode in 1980, Environment New Brunswick (ENB) requested the Atmospheric Environment Service (AES) to become involved in a study of the meteorological and air quality conditions which cause such episodes. During the period of 22 July to 5 August 1981, AES in cooperation with ENB, the Environmental Protection Service (EPS), the University of New Brunswick and New Brunswick Electric Power Commission carried out a field program to investigate pollution dispersion effects in the east Saint John area"--Abstract.
