Estimation of dry deposition velocities of sulfur over Canada and the United States east of the Rocky Mountains / C. Masse and E.C. Voldner.En57-64/82-10E-PDF

"When assessing potential damage to the terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem from acidic deposition, both the wet and dry components of deposition must be considered. Wet deposition is monitored routinely through several networks in eastern North America. Dry deposition on the other hand is normally estimated from fluxes of the atmospheric compounds. These methods are not suitable for routine applications"--Introduction.
