"The intent of this report is to provide a summary of the meteorological observations that were made during the 1983 Lake Couchiching Camp Study. This part of the study was carried out by the Atmospheric Environment Service, Air Quality and Inter-Environmental Research Branch (ARQT Division) at the request of the Department of National Health and Welfare (NHW). The study took place over the period June 26, 1983 to July 8, 1983 and was conducted at Lake Couchiching Camp near Lake Simcoe. The main objective of the study was to examine the effect of air pollutants transported over a long-range upon children with respiratory illness"--Introduction.
