"Meteorological and oceanographic fields of information are produced by the Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center (FNOC) on the 63x63 FNOC grid distributed by the Naval Environmental Data Network (NEDN). The data produced represent a mixture of numerical objective analyses and prognoses resulting from a blended mixture of man-machine products. This data set has been compiled over several years and represents a potentially valuable set of data for climatological applications"--Abstract.
