"The 50001 Ready Energy Management Assessment (EMA) is a “gap analysis” tool for any organization interested in developing or enhancing its energy management practices or understanding how its energy management practices have improved over time. The hallmark of energy management systems (EnMS) such as 50001 Ready is continual improvement. The 50001 Ready EMA is organized by the 7 sections and 25 tasks of the 50001 Ready Navigator. The 50001 Ready Navigator is a free online resource that provides guidance for organizations of all types to develop energy management business practices consistent with the international management system standard ISO 50001"--Introduction, page 1.
