"The Atmospheric Environment Service (AES) Toxic Chemicals Program is a scientific program designed to answer questions about the atmospheric transport, transformation and deposition of priority toxic chemicals and their ultimate fate in the environment. Activities are conducted by the Air Quality and Inter-Environmental Research Branch of the Atmospheric Research Directorate, AES, Downsview, Ontario, in coordination with the Toxic Chemicals Management Program (TCMP) and Great Lakes Water Quality (GLWQ) departmental programs. Additional projects are carried out by the AES Regional offices of the Field Services Directorate, in cooperation with the DOE Regional offices. The following is a summary report on the progress made during the period April 1, 1984 to March 31, 1985, reported with respect to Service goals and objectives identified in the 1984-85 AES Toxic Chemicals Work Plans. Individual project descriptions and their corresponding status reports (Appendix I) and the resource summaries (Appendix II) are included in this final report"--Page [1].
