Canada, through ECCC's Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) is introducing three main projects: risk-tiered (colour-coded) alerting, convective alerting modernization, and new weather forecast information. The colour-coded alerting is planned to launch in 2025, with the convective alerting sometime in early 2026 and the forecast updates starting later in 2026.
