"The Naismith Project is in the S. W. ¼-25-28-10-4, 8 miles south and 4 miles west of Youngstown. It lies on a local drainage that might, in times of high water, flow into the main Berry Creek about 1 mile below the south end of Plover Lake. The site was visited by Gray and Huddleston on July 14th, 1959. The purpose of this structure is stockwater and irrigation, 300 acres being listed as irrigable from this storage"--Page [1].
