"This is the third in a series of prawn exploration surveys carried out in British Columbia's central and northern coastal waters. The region covered in this present survey was the mainland and adjacent waters from the north end of Banks Island to the head of Portland Canal. A 63-foot wooden schooner, the M.V. Beowulf was chartered to conduct the survey using circular aluminum frame, nylon web covered prawn traps"--Abstract, page iii.
