Workforce renewal in health occupations / by André Bernard and Yasmina Seddiki.CS75-006/2025-1-6E-PDF

"This study uses annual data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) to examine employment trends in health occupations between 1998 and 2024. Data from the 2021 Census of Population are used to provide age profiles by detailed health occupations, to better understand the extent to which younger workers could replace those approaching retirement age. This article also explores the role of immigration in mitigating the impacts of an aging health workforce"--Overview of the study, page 1.
