"Key areas of focus included Canadians' knowledge of terms and practices related to plastic waste and pollution and the circular plastics economy, their understanding of the impact of their personal actions, their consumption and disposal habits, and their level of concern about plastic waste and pollution. Additionally, ECCC sought to gauge awareness and identify the level of support for action by the Government of Canada to reduce plastic waste and pollution and transition to a circular plastics economy in Canada. Insights were also sought into how Canadians find and receive information to encourage positive changes in attitudes and behaviours"--Executive Summary, page 4.
