Historic domestic and foreign fish catch statistics for British Columbia : 1920-1991 / by B.J. Waddell and D.M. Ware.Fs97-6/2030E-PDF

"Historic domestic and foreign catch statistics for British Columbia are scattered in a variety of documents, and are tabulated using different methods. This document summarizes these data in a standard convention for six 'subareas' of the B.C. coast to ease comparisons between species, areas, and years. Domestic catch data have been summarized for the years 1920 to 1991, whereas foreign catch have been tabulated for the years 1966 to 1991 for the southwest coast of Vancouver Island and from 1966 to 1980 for Queen Charlotte Sound and the west coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands. Recreational landings are not included in this report. All catches are reported as round weights and are in metric tonnes"--Abstract, page vi.
