"Many households in Canada are renters, with the proportion of renter households ranging from 27% in New Brunswick to 80.8% in Nunavut (Statistics Canada, 2022). While research has been conducted on the experiences of tenants, information on the experiences of landlords in Canada is limited. CMHC conducted a pilot survey of landlords in Québec in 2023 to help address this gap by increasing understanding of how landlords make operational decisions at various stages of a tenancy"--Page [1].
