Sea life of Atlantic salmon of the Margaree River / by A.G. Huntsman.: Fs53-15/1938E-PDF

"The Margaree Harbour Salmon Cooperative Union, W.S. Laurence of Margaree Harbour, the Grand Etang Salmon Cooperative Union, and both Robin, Jones and Whitman and F.W. Leslie Limited, of Cheticamp, have furnished data of numbers and weights of salmon received daily from each fisherman. The Department of Fisheries has provided varied data, locally through A.J. Murphy, Inspector of Fisheries, and J.F. Chiasson, Superintendent of the Margaree Salmon Pond. Of prime importance have been the records of the salmon taken for or tagged from that pond. Also of particular significance has been the varied material obtained by Dr. P.F. Elson and Dr. W.S. Hoar when at Margaree Harbour during the summers of 1935, 1936 and 1937"--Material, page 3.
