The goal of the workshop was to generate ideas that can be used to draft objectives for and determine suggested actions for the rebuilding plan. Participants began the workshop with presentations about the rebuilding planning project, the summer-run Chinook salmon population itself, habitat restoration, stock assessment research, environmental flow management, and restoration planning. Following this information, participants joined breakout discussions to brainstorm content for drafting objectives and actions. They also generated considerations and identified outstanding questions.
