The food of Hecate Strait crabs, June 1978 / by F.R. Bernard.Fs97-4/1612E-PDF

"The stomach contents of 520 commercial crabs (Cancer magister) taken by trawl in Hecate Strait contained 29 prey items identified to species and 28 identified to genus. Bivalve molluscs and polychaetes with crustaceans were the dominant classes of food, but juvenile flatfish were also important. A diel cycle in the fullness of stomachs was apparent"--Abstract, page iii.
