"Shoreline vegetation maps were developed for Comox, Denman Island and Hornby Island from 1:6,000 photographic scale 23 cm format colour and colour infrared diapositives. One hundred and fourteen km of coastline were mapped from 549 photographs"--Abstract, page iv.
