"A key element in the anticipated information management problem on a naval platform is the ability to combine or fuse data, not only as a volume-reducing strategy, but also as a means to exploit the unique combinations of data that may be available. This document presents an overview of the R&D activities involving the Command and Control Division at DREV in the field of local area Multi-Sensor Data Fusion (MSDF) for naval command and control afloat.
