"Oncorhynchus gorbuscha were first reported in Lakes Ontario and Erie during the fall of 1979. In spite of returns to tributaries of Lake Erie, success in Lake Ontario was limited with only two fish reported during the 1981 spawning season"--Abstract, page iv.
