"In support of commitments made to ICNAF, a study of the size composition of herring was carried out in the Bay of Fundy, in southwest Nova Scotia, and on Georges and Browns Banks. In addition studies of the abundance and distribution of herring larvae that have been occupying our attention for several years were continued in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and in the Day of Fundy"--page 1.
