"This companion document to the 2024 Chief Public Health Officer (CPHO) report first provides an overview of key ongoing and planned vaccination-related science activities taking place globally and federally within Canada (Section 1). It then presents a call to action to scientists and researchers across sectors including government, academia, or industry, as well as funders and communities, to support coordinated scientific activities to help "strengthen vaccination systems to address knowledge gaps and research needs" as recommended in the 2024 CPHO report (Section 2)"--Introduction, page 2.
