"Burbot, northern pike, longnose sucker, and flathead chub were collected from mid-September to late October 1994 and in mid-December for gross pathological examination and contaminant, biochemical, stomach content, and gonad morphology analyses. Other fish species caught were retained for contaminant and stomach content analyses (maximum 10 fish per species) or were released. Fish were sampled for the analyses according to Northern River Basins Study protocols, frozen on dry ice, and transported to Edmonton and Winnipeg"--Report summary.
