The flow model is quite simple, combining classical lifting line and momentum theory to estimate thrust and torque. Compressible flow effects are predicted by applying the Prandtl-Glauert compressibility correction to two-dimensional blade section lift predictions. Simple empirical stall models extend the predictions to extreme advance ratios. Supersonic conditions are not modelled. The program supplies the ratios of compressible to incompressible thrust and torque predictions as the compressibility correction.
