"Coho salmon smolts from the Campbell River were captured and coded wire tagged during the spring of 1982. A total of 16,138 coho smolts were captured, of which 15,637 were released with tags (code 02 22 62). The smolts averaged 112.9 mm in length and 13.3 g in weight. The coho smolt migration had an apparent duration of six weeks, peaking in mid May"--Abstract, page vii.
