The recovery rates are similar for the two major fisheries; roe, food and bait. Recovery rates vary among processing plants and this may be attributed to physical conditions within plants and worker and management enthusiasm in returning of tags. Orange and pink tags have higher recovery rates than yellow, white or green tags.
