"This document provides an estimate of the upstream greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the Line 3 Replacement Program, and a discussion of the conditions under which they could be considered incremental. The Line 3 Replacement Program proposes to replace sections of the existing Line 3 pipeline between Hardisty, Alberta and Gretna, Manitoba, and involves the installation of new, and the replacement of existing, infrastructure (e.g., storage tanks, valves and pumps) as well as the decommissioning of the existing Line 3 pipeline"--Executive summary, page 5.
