"FoodNet Canada (formerly C-EnterNet) was developed to provide a more complete, standardized and integrated approach to enteric disease surveillance in Canada. It collects information along the farm-to-fork continuum from human cases of enteric disease and levels of pathogen exposure from food, animal, and water sources. Information gathered has strengthened the science, policy, intervention, prevention, and health promotion and protection activities related to both food and water safety in Canada"--Page [1].
