An analysis of terminal weather at Resolute / by H.A. Thompson.En57-56/402-1962E-PDF

"A weather station was established at Resolute, at the south end of Cornwallis Island, in September 1947. The station, originally located on a beach bench less than one-half mile from the shoreline of Resolute Bay, was moved about two miles inland to the area at the landing strip on October 12th, 1953. Three-hourly synoptic and climatological data are available for the airport site from this date, and data on punched cards for the period January 1954 through December 1960 are used in this analysis"--Introduction, page [1].
