"A telegram was received from Dr. Huntsman, Director of the Atlantic Biological Station, requesting an investigation of the cause of mortality of the salmon, which had been reported as occurring in the River St. Croix to the Department of Fisheries, by the local inspectors. The telegram further indicated that available information was to be secured from Mr. O.A. Rigby, Inspector of Fisheries"--Page [1].
