"The Rural Canada Business Profiles (RCBP) database provides data on the number and key financial indicators of SMEs across RST and functional urban areas in Canada. While the RCBP database follows a methodology similar to the Financial Performance Data (FPD),2 it distinguishes itself through its integration of the RST and functional urban area classification. The RCBP database includes data beginning with the 2017 reference year. The RCBP database serves as a versatile analytical tool for benchmarking and analysis for a wide range of stakeholders, including businesses, governments, academia, community organizations and the public.
