"The purpose of this paper is to examine the GATT Uruguay Round negotiations on services. The paper, inter alia, will summarize the programme for services adopted by participating countries on 28 January 1987 for the initial phase of negotiations, comment on the provisions of agreements that might be negotiated, the types of such agreements and the services that might be included in them. The paper will also note Canada's interests in the GATT negotiations where they are known"--Page [1].
