"The hydrology of the Nicola River system is examined and low flows analysed. Data on the fisheries resource is summarized including distribution, timing, and escapements of salmon stocks utilizing the Nicola River and its principal tributaries, the Coldwater River and Spius Creek. Information on the economic value of the fisheries resource is also provided. Spawning and rearing habitat was studied in detail using 6 transects on the Coldwater River and 16 transects on the Nicola River"--Abstract, page iii.
