"During September 1979 we dove at nineteen sites in Checleset Bay, just south of Cape Cook on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia (Fig. 1). The purposes of the study were to examine the effect of sea otter foraging on benthic subtidal communities and delineate the home range of the Bunsby Islands sea otter population"--Abstract, page iii.
