Internal trade in Canada : an overview / by Eyob Fissuh, Cosette Wagner and Yunfa Zhu.CS11-621/196E-PDF

"This paper is part of the Canadian Internal Trade Data and Information Hub (CITH), a joint initiative of Statistics Canada and the Privy Council Office under the Federal Action Plan to Strengthen Internal Trade. The objective of this article is to provide an overview of internal trade in Canada through two descriptive lenses: the structure and evolution of trade flows across provinces and industries, and a broad estimate of jobs linked to interprovincial trade. The analysis leverages data and information available through the CITH to provide a picture of the current state of Canada's internal trade market and establish a baseline for monitoring future changes, supporting policy analysis, research, and decision-making related to internal trade"--Introduction, page 5.
