"This report builds on the committee’s 2024 report to focus specifically on the challenges for First Nations without reserve lands and identify solutions to address this longstanding issue. The first section of this report discusses the historical and contemporary context of First Nations without reserve lands. The remainder of the report discusses federal policies and processes raised by First Nations trying to obtain reserve lands including federal recognition, specific claims and additions to reserve. The report then discusses access to information that could support First Nations without reserve lands to work together on this issue"--Introduction, page 7.
