"This study examines Black-owned enterprises in Canada, including the people they employ and the support they receive from federal programs. It compares these characteristics across enterprises based on the racialized profile of the primary owner. The data for this analysis were obtained by linking the Census of Population (2001, 2006, 2016 and 2021), the 2011 National Household Survey and various administrative data sources within the Business - Linkable File Environment"--Abstract, page 4.
