"The Multidisciplinary Arctic Program (MAP) – Last Ice, led by Fisheries and Oceans Canada, provides the first ecosystem study of the multi-year sea ice ecosystem of the Last Ice Area, including physical, chemical and biological processes, sea ice-associated biodiversity, habitat and habitat use. This foundational scientific knowledge is crucial in order to characterize the current state of the unique ecosystem of the Last Ice Area, and understand its evolution in a rapidly warming Arctic. This report presents a review of the scientific activities that took place during the second MAP – Last Ice field campaign, from 25 March to 12 June, 2019, North of Ellesmere Island"--Abstract, page vii.
