"This standard specifies the requirements for a concentrated dishwashing rinse additive used in the final rinse cycle of mechanical dishwashing machines equipped with a suitable rinse injector device. The additive aids in eliminating water spotting and filming of tableware in water of any hardness"--Scope, page 1.
