If the publication is a new periodical (for example, an annual report or a quarterly newsletter), we suggest contacting ISSN Canada for an ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) before requesting a catalogue number.

ISBNs and catalogue numbers will be emailed to the contact person within 3 business days, providing that there are no problems with the application
