In this study, we tested whether SDMs can be developed from existing southern Ontario occurrence data for five mussel species at risk using MaxEnt software, a program for modelling species distributions with presence-only species records. Models were built using species presence and abiotic attribute data for the Ausable, Bayfield, Grand, Thames, and Sydenham rivers. Abiotic attributes included: channel slope, riparian and catchment forest cover, summer water temperature, surficial geology, and upstream catchment area. Attributes were based on the provincial Aquatic Ecosystem Classification (AEC) scheme. Strongly supported distribution models were developed for all five mussel species, with 2 to 4 influential predictor variables being identified for each species. Predictors identified consistently across species as influencing habitat suitability were summer water temperature and upstream contributing area. Other informative variables (i.e., geology and tree cover) were only identified for more widespread species (e.g., Wavy-rayed Lampmussel). The number of informative predictor variables for rarer species (e.g., Fawnsfoot) may be limited by the small number of species records, which could be addressed through future inventories. Incorporating the influence of anthropogenic stressors and host fish availability would also improve MaxEnt models but does require the compilation of additional databases"--Abstract, page vi. aIssued by: Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Ontario Region. aIssued by: Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Prairie Region. a45fefab6-6f61-4843-824a-17ef0e1c7e29 0aUnionidaezOntario, SouthwesternxGeographical distribution. 0aRare molluskszOntario, SouthwesternxGeographical distribution. 6aUnionidâeszOntario (Sud-Ouest)xDistribution gâeographique. 6aMollusques rareszOntario (Sud-Ouest)xDistribution gâeographique.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bOntario Region, eissuing body.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bPrairie Region, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=45fefab6-6f61-4843-824a-17ef0e1c7e2970zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/mpo-dfo/Fs97-4-3259-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70 a92bNLC03669cam 22005537i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139020001800160020001500178035002200193042002000215043001200235082001500247084001700262084001700279084001800296086002400314245007800338264007800416264001000494300008000504336002600584337002600610338003600636490005000672500012200722500012600844500001300970500005500983504004101038506007501079520091701154596004102071650005202112650004102164650005702205650005002262710006402312775020902376856017802585856018502763856015502948994001203103on1367325626OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221101t20232023oncab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301613832can a9780660460727 a0660460726 a(OCoLC)1367325626 alacderivedalac an-cn-bc1 a333.95215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aEn3-4/181-2023E-PDF00aRecovery strategy for white sturgeon (Acipenser transmontanus) in Canada. 1aOttawa :bFisheries and Oceans Canada = Pãeches et ocâeans Canada,c2023. 4cÃ2023 a1 online resource (xiii, 255 pages) :billustration, maps (chiefly colour). atextbtxt2rdacontent acomputerbc2rdamedia aonline resourcebcr2rdacarrier0 aSpecies at Risk Act, recovery strategy series aDistributed by the Government of Canada Publishing and Depository Services Program (Weekly acquisitions list 2023-04) aIssued also in French under title: Programme de râetablissement de l'esturgeon blanc (Acipenser transmontanus) au Canada. a"Final." a"Original publication: 2014. 1st amendment: 2023." aIncludes bibliographical references.0 aUnrestricted online access.fUnrestricted online access.2star5CaOONL a"Within Canada, White Sturgeon occur only in British Columbia and are divided into six populations, based on geography, demographics and genetics: the lower, middle and upper Fraser River; Nechako River; Upper Columbia River; and, Kootenay River. These earthquakes and their moment magnitude (M) are: 1) February 3, 1902, M 4.5; 2) September 30, 1924, M 5.2; 3) January 08, 1931, M 4.9; 4) October 19, 1939, M 5.3; 5) October 14, 1952, M 4.5; 6) August 19, 1979, M 4.8; 7) March 6, 2005, M 4.7. Five, possibly six, of these seven earthquakes occurred in the northeast portion of the CSZ, where the largest event of the period, the 1925 M 6.2 earthquake, also occurred. For each locality where the earthquakes were felt, macroseismic information is given and interpreted on the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale. The original mail questionnaires filled by postmasters for earthquakes no. 3, 4, 5 and 6 are lost. Consequently, the main sources of information are the newspaper accounts except for no. 7 for which web-based questionnaires are available. The macroseismic information from localities in Canada and in the US (from NOAA) are tabulated in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Most newspaper clippings that have macroseismic information are included. The Open File also provides GoogleEarth kmz files that allow the felt information reports to be viewed in a spatial tool"--Abstract, page 1. a0d68a080-3521-49b8-98b9-fc9bcc5534c2 0aEarthquakeszQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix Region. 0aEarthquake intensityzQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix Region. 0aEarthquake damagezQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix Region. 6aTremblements de terrezQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix (Râegion) 6aTremblements de terrexIntensitâezQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix (Râegion) 6aDommages causâes par les tremblements de terrezQuâebec (Province)zCharlevoix (Râegion)2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=0d68a080-3521-49b8-98b9-fc9bcc5534c270zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8828-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/329135 a92bNLC03439cam 22005177i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202082001500214084001700229084001700246084001800263086002100281100002800302245022600330264005200556264001000608300007000618336002600688337002600714338003600740490003400776500012300810504005300933506007500986520111601061596004102177650003802218650003802256650003802294650004502332650002602377650003102403710004802434856017802482856019302660856005602853994001202909on1367325652OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221109t20222022oncab ob f000 0 eng d aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301623712can a(OCoLC)1367325652 alacderivedalac an-cn-nu1 a551.44215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8855E-PDF1 aMidwinter, D.,eauthor.10aUpper Triassic to Lower Jurassic stratigraphy along the northeastern margin of the Sverdrup Basin, Axel Heiberg and Ellesmere islands, Nunavut :bnew data from measured sections /cD. These sections are subdivided in terms of established member and formation names based on previous mapping along the north-eastern margin of the Sverdrup Basin. The lowermost strata in the Heiberg Formation, the Romulus Member (510-575 m thick), is a coarsening-upward succession of mudstone to fine-grained sandstone from a prodelta to delta plain environment. The overlying Fosheim Member (317-425 m) is a coal-bearing and sandstone-rich interval from a mixed alluvial-marine environment, such as a delta plain. It is overlain by the Remus Member (100-112 m); a sandstone-rich unit representative of shallow marine deposits. The visual comparison of distinctive couplets in the CT-scan radiographs of the Frederick House core samples to photographs of core samples from Reid Lake show a match of «1 varve number from v1656-v1902, and «5 varve numbers between v1903-v2010, relative to the regional numbering of the Timiskaming varve series. There are two interpretations for the post-v2010 couplets that fall within the Connaught varve sequence of the regional series. In the first, the interpreted numbering spans from v2066-v2115, which produces a gap of 55 missing varves equivalent to v2011-v2065, and corresponds to the original interpretation of the Connaught varve numbering. The second spans v2011a-v2060a, and represents alternative (a) numbering for the same varves. Varve thickness data are listed in spreadsheet files (.xlsx and .csv formats), and CT-Scan radiograph images of core samples are laid out on a mosaic poster showing the interpreted varve numbering and between-core sample correlations of the varve couplets"--Abstract, page 1. af443ae6d-87a4-4dd3-9182-e180f140e230 0aVarveszOntario. 0aLake sedimentszOntario. 0aGlacial lakeszOntario. 6aVarveszOntario. 6aSâediments lacustreszOntario. 6aLacs glaciaireszOntario.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=f443ae6d-87a4-4dd3-9182-e180f140e230zFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8851-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8851-1-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/329275 a92bNLC02247cam 22004573i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202084001700214084001700231084001800248086002400266245001500290264008000305264001000385300003300395336002600428337002600454338003600480490006200516500012200578500005100700504004100751506007500792596004100867650004000908650005100948710006300999775014101062856017801203856019101381856020501572994001201777on1367325673OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||230126t20232023onc ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301642772can a(OCoLC)1367325673 alacderivedalac an-cn--- acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aH113-24/2023-4E-PDF00aFluopyram. 1aOttawa, Ontario :bPest Management Regulatory Agency, Health Canada,c2023. 4cÃ2023 a1 online resource (5 pages). atextbtxt2rdacontent acomputerbc2rdamedia aonline resourcebcr2rdacarrier0 aProposed maximum residue limit,x1925-0843 ;vPMRL2023-04 aDistributed by the Government of Canada Publishing and Depository Services Program (Weekly acquisitions list 2023-04) aIssued also in French under title: Fluopyrame. aIncludes bibliographical references.0 aUnrestricted online access.fUnrestricted online access.2star5CaOONL af6232f5f-5cab-4664-b619-d4c98329c4ca 0aNematocidesxCertificationzCanada. 0aPesticide residues in foodxStandardszCanada.1 aCanada.bPest Management Regulatory Agency, eissuing body.0 tFluopyrame.dOttawa (Ontario) : Agence de râeglementation de la lutte antiparasitaire, Santâe Canada, 25 janvier 2023w(OCoLC)1367326319403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=f6232f5f-5cab-4664-b619-d4c98329c4ca70zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/sc-hc/h113-24/H113-24-2023-4-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/consumer-product-safety/pesticides-pest-management/public/consultations/proposed-maximum-residue-limit/2023/fluopyram/document.html a92bNLC03643cam 22004937i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202082001200214084001700226084001700243084001800260086002100278100005400299245022600353264005200579264001000631300007700641336002600718337002600744338003600770490003400806500012300840504005400963506007501017520135001092596004102442650003902483650004802522650004402570650004802614710004802662856017802710856019302888856005603081994001203137on1367325680OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20212021oncab ob f000 0 eng d aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301621422can a(OCoLC)1367325680 alacderivedalac ar------1 a622215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8850E-PDF1 aShimeld, John W.q(John William),d1968-eauthor.10aReprocessed multi-channel seismic-reflection data set from the Arctic Ocean, collected using icebreakers between 2007-2011 and 2014-2016 for the Canadian Extended Continental Shelf program /cJ. Staff at the Geological Survey of Canada collected these data using a seismic system designed for deployment on the icebreaker Louis S. St-Laurent during eight expeditions in 2007-2011 and 2014-2016. These expeditions were managed by three federal government departments (Natural Resources, Fisheries and Oceans, and Global Affairs) and involved multiple operational collaborations with the United States, Denmark and Sweden. The work produced 157 seismic reflection lines with a combined track-length of 18622 km, offering abundant information about the crust and overlying sedimentary succession across previously unexplored regions of the Arctic Ocean basin. The data are released both as SEG-Y standard binary files and PNG standard raster images. Signal processing is applied in a consistent manner using specialized techniques developed through accumulated experience with various noise-types caused by the icebreaking operations. Mapping Hb2(BS distribution across the Montney basin in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) is fundamental to understanding the processes responsible for its occurrence. We derive a Montney-specific dataset of well gas and water geochemistry from the publically available archives of the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) and British Columbia Oil and Gas Commission (BCOGC) conducting quality assurance and control procedure before spatial interpolation. Empirical Bayesian Kriging is used to interpolate Hb2(BS across the whole Montney basin resulting in maps of Hb2(BS from hydrocarbon gas, condensates, and water; along with maps of sulfate and chloride ions in water. However, expert-based threat assessments require validation through field research and monitoring. In 2021, electrofishing surveys to detect and monitor the two species were undertaken along four Lake Ontario tributaries: the Trent River (9 sites), Moira River (1 site), Salmon River (15 sites), and Napanee River (6 sites). Surveys were also undertaken at two sites along Depot Creek, a Napanee River tributary. A total of 60 Channel Darter and 238 Round Goby were electrofished from all sites. Channel Darter was detected at five Trent River sites and six Salmon River sites; Round Goby was detected at nine Trent River sites and one Napanee River site. Round Goby co-occurred with Channel Darter at five sites (Trent River). Angling surveys to detect Round Goby were also undertaken across five waterbodies representing potential baitfish introduction sites within the Trent River, Salmon River, and Napanee River watersheds: Crowe Lake (25 sites), Beaver Lake (24 sites), Varty Lake (24 sites), Rylstone Lake (10 sites), and Crowe River (6 sites), as well as 8 reference sites on the Trent River. Round Goby was only detected at reference sites"--Abstract, page vi. ad48948b4-70de-4d03-8099-287587b7e0cd 0aChannel darterzOntario. 0aNeogobiuszOntario. 0aFish surveyszOntario. 0aIntroduced fisheszOntario. 6aFouille-roche griszOntario. 6aNeogobiuszOntario. 6aInventaires ichtyologiqueszOntario. 6aPoissons introduitszOntario.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bOntario Region, eissuing body.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bPrairie Region, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=d48948b4-70de-4d03-8099-287587b7e0cd70zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/mpo-dfo/Fs97-13-1363-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70 a92bNLC02284cam 22004573i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202084001700214084001700231084001800248086002400266245002400290264008000314264001000394300003300404336002600437337002600463338003600489490006200525500012200587500006100709504004100770506007500811596004100886650003900927650005100966710006301017775015101080856017801231856019101409856021401600994001201814on1367325764OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||230120t20232023onc ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301638582can a(OCoLC)1367325764 alacderivedalac an-cn--- acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aH113-24/2023-1E-PDF00aSodium acifluorfen. 1aOttawa, Ontario :bPest Management Regulatory Agency, Health Canada,c2023. 4cÃ2023 a1 online resource (5 pages). atextbtxt2rdacontent acomputerbc2rdamedia aonline resourcebcr2rdacarrier0 aProposed maximum residue limit,x1925-0843 ;vPMRL2023-01 aDistributed by the Government of Canada Publishing and Depository Services Program (Weekly acquisitions list 2023-04) aIssued also in French under title: Acifluorfáene-sodium. aIncludes bibliographical references.0 aUnrestricted online access.fUnrestricted online access.2star5CaOONL a376fde71-b696-46bf-9b4e-9ab7ea8801d5 0aHerbicidesxCertificationzCanada. 0aPesticide residues in foodxStandardszCanada.1 aCanada.bPest Management Regulatory Agency, eissuing body.0 tAcifluorfáene-sodium.dOttawa (Ontario) : Agence de râeglementation de la lutte antiparasitaire, Santâe Canada, 19 janvier 2023w(OCoLC)1367326359403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=376fde71-b696-46bf-9b4e-9ab7ea8801d570zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/sc-hc/h113-24/H113-24-2023-1-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/consumer-product-safety/pesticides-pest-management/public/consultations/proposed-maximum-residue-limit/2023/sodium-acifluorfen/document.html a92bNLC02785cam 22005057i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202045000900214082001500223084001700238084001700255084001800272086002100290100002500311245026500336264006800601264001000669300005000679336002600729337002600755338003600781490003400817500012200851504005500973506007501028520046301103596004101566650004201607650004001649650006001689650004301749710004801792856017801840856019302018856005602211994001202267on1367325794OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20212021bcca ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301626062can a(OCoLC)1367325794 alacderivedalac an-cn-bc ay1y21 a551.22215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8831E-PDF1 aVisser, R.,eauthor.12aA comprehensive earthquake catalogue for northeastern British Columbia :bthe northern Montney trend from 2017 to 2020 and the Kiskatinaw seismic monitoring and mitigation area from 2019 to 2020 /cR. Two phenomena impacting responses to self-reported life satisfaction are studied across a range of social surveys: the framing effect, where a respondent's answer is influenced by the theme of the survey or its content; and the mode effect, where a respondent's answer is influenced by the method in which survey data are collected (with an interviewer, through an online collection portal, etc.). The impact of these effects on life satisfaction responses is measured across three Statistics Canada survey series: the General Social Survey (GSS), the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) and the Canadian Social Survey"--Abstract, page 1. ae8f0ea0e-e1bd-41cb-9539-b31d63c96a95 0aSocial surveyszCanada. 0aQuality of lifezCanadaxStatisticsxMethodology. 6aEnquãetes socialeszCanada. 6aQualitâe de la viezCanadaxStatistiquesxMâethodologie. 7aStatistics.2lcgft2 aStatistics Canada, eissuing body.0 aWavrock, David.tEffets de la base de sondage et du mode d'enquãete sur les râeponses liâees áa la satisfaction áa l'âegard de la vie dans les enquãetes sociales canadiennes.d[Ottawa] : Statistique Canada = Statistics Canada, 2023w(OCoLC)1367326366403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=e8f0ea0e-e1bd-41cb-9539-b31d63c96a95zFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/statcan/36-28-0001/CS36-28-0001-2023-1-3-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/36-28-0001/2023001/article/00003-eng.htm a92bNLC02769cam 22005297i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160041001800182042002000200043003000220045000900250082001500259084001700274084001700291084001800308086002100326100002700347245021200374264006800586264001000654300004100664336002600705337002600731338003600757490003400793500012200827504005000949546004400999506007501043520041401118596004101532650003901573650004801612650004401660650004801704710004801752856017801800856019301978856005602171994001202227on1367325898OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221108t20212021bccab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301631302can a(OCoLC)13673258980 aengbengbfre alacderivedalac ar------an-cn-ykan-cn-nt ay1y11 a551.22215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8834E-PDF1 aSalmas, K.M.,eauthor.10aMultichannel seismic data dissemination from 2017 Beaufort Sea geoscience research expedition, offshore Yukon and Northwest Territories /cK.M. However, because of a lack of objective measures of language skills, previous studies have mainly drawn on subjective measures of language proficiency and were confined to the effect of only one dimension or general language skills. This study examines the effects of test-based measures of official language proficiency in four dimensions - listening, speaking, reading and writing - on immigrant employment and earnings. The analysis focuses on economic principal applicants admitted through the Express Entry (EE) system who immigrated to Canada from 2015 to 2018. A self-reported language measure based on self-reported knowledge of official languages at immigration and mother tongue is also examined for comparison"--Abstract, page 1. ac552ff0d-0ff2-41aa-a057-aa8e05684ed0 0aImmigrantszCanadaxLanguagevStatistics. 0aImmigrantsxEmploymentzCanadavStatistics. 0aLanguage policyzCanada. 6aImmigrantszCanadaxLangagevStatistiques. 6aImmigrantsxTravailzCanadavStatistiques. 6aPolitique linguistiquezCanada. One slide (P3582-07) contains two spores: Middle to Late Devonian Ancyrospora sp. with a TAI value of 6+ and an indeterminate spore with a TAI value of 5+. Both spores are interpreted as caved and thus not useful in determining age. Only one slide, P3580-07 (9590'/2923.0 m), yields in situ, identifiable spores, indicating a Middle to Late Devonian age, which is consistent with previously published palynological data for Gannet O-54"--Abstract. a5eac1ab5-0062-4bd6-a514-f86291eba241 0aPalynologyzGrand Banks of Newfoundland. 0aGeology, StratigraphicyPaleozoic. 6aPalynologiezTerre-Neuve, Grand-Banc de. 6aStratigraphieyPalâeozoèique.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=5eac1ab5-0062-4bd6-a514-f86291eba24170zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8819-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/328813 a92bNLC03176cam 22005177i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202082001500214084001700229084001700246084001800263086002100281100002900302245022100331264005200552264001000604300004200614336002600656337002600682338003600708490003400744500012200778504005300900506007500953520070601028596004101734650005401775650006101829650006301890650006801953650007902021650007102100710004802171856017802219856019302397856005602590994001202646on1367326009OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20212021onca ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301623122can a(OCoLC)1367326009 alacderivedalac an-cn-nt1 a551.22215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8825E-PDF1 aFarahbod, A.M.,eauthor.13aAn earthquake catalogue for seismic events in the Norman Wells region of the central Mackenzie Valley, Northwest Territories, using waveform data from local seismic stations /cA.M. This work was done to help determine the potential predation pressure of these fishes on the regions' populations of Northern Shrimp (Pandalus borealis) and Striped Shrimp (Pandalus montagui) in the context of stock assessment for the commercial Northern Shrimp fishery. The results of these analyses found the relative contribution by percent weight (%W) and percent number (%N) of Pandalid prey in comparison to all other taxonomic categories of prey to be highest within the stomachs of Atlantic Cod (n = 27), with %W and %N values of 87.1% and 92.7%, respectively. The %W values were 23.4% and 14.0%, while the %N values were 15.5% and 30.6% for the stomachs of Greenland Halibut (n = 633) and skates (n = 168), respectively. Three surficial geology units are mapped: bedrock, till, and patchy sand and gravel cover. The bedrock units include a Neoproterozoic granite and granodiorite unit in the center of Flemish Cap, which is overlain by Cretaceous to Cenozoic sedimentary rocks. These units have then been overlain by till. A patchy sand and gravel deposit covers most of Flemish Cap, and was deposited mostly through ice-rafted debris and redistributed by the Labrador and the North Atlantic Currents. The improved bathymetric data has revealed mega-scale glacial lineations (MSGLs) incised mostly in soft bedrock or till and eroded bedrock lineations located on eastern and southern Flemish Cap. A glacial moraine has been identified for the first time on the north side of Flemish Cap. These glacial features are evidence of a late Quaternary glacial ice cap on Flemish Cap"--Summary. ab77dbaa9-5b73-4f21-b2b5-364c6f655116 0aOcean bottomzNorth Atlantic Ocean. 0aMarine sedimentszNorth Atlantic Ocean. 0aBanks (Oceanography)zNorth Atlantic Ocean. 6aFonds marinszAtlantique Nord. 6aSâediments marinszAtlantique Nord. 6aBancs (Ocâeanographie)zAtlantique Nord.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=b77dbaa9-5b73-4f21-b2b5-364c6f65511670zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8827-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/328954 a92bNLC02664cam 22005177i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043002100202082001400223084001700237084001700254084001800271086002100289100003500310245017800345264005900523264001000582300005700592336002600649337002600675338003600701490003400737500012200771504005500893506007500948520032401023596004101347650005401388650004401442650003401486650005501520650004701575650003701622710004801659856017801707856019301885856005602078994001202134on1367326114OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20212021qucab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301629752can a(OCoLC)1367326114 alacderivedalac an-cn-quan-cn-on1 a551.3215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8832E-PDF1 aParent, M.q(Michel),eauthor.10a3-D model of the Quaternary sediments in the St. Lawrence valley and adjacent regions, southern Quebec and eastern Ontario /cM. The Lampetra satellite species of western North America are composed of three species: the anadromous Western River Lamprey (WRL) L. ayresii and two species of freshwater-resident, non-parasitic brook lampreys, the Western Brook Lamprey (WBL) L. richardsoni and Pacific Brook Lamprey (PBL) L. pacifica. The biology of these species has many information gaps, which makes assessing conservation status and identifying conservation actions challenging. We have synthesized the information from the literature to provide an understanding of the biology, threats, monitoring needs, and conservation of the Lampetra species of western North America, focusing on WBL. The three lampreys in the Lampetra satellite species, being small, exhibit relatively weak swimming abilities and undertake short movements within a water body. As such, they may be impacted by passage barriers. Whereas anadromous lampreys are predicted to migrate poleward in a changing climate, WBL and PBL will not be able to readily change their distributions, and so will likely be significantly impacted by climate change, making passage increasingly important for their conservation. Distribution monitoring and studies focused on understanding their spawning migrations and passage requirements will be essential to inform conservation"--Abstract, page v. aIssued by: Pacific Biological Station. add80f6b1-c522-4836-a8a2-8d01283e0126 0aWestern brook lampreyxConservationzNorth America. 0aLampetrazNorth America. 0aConservation biologyzNorth America. 6aLamproie de l'OuestxConservationzAmâerique du Nord. 6aLampetrazAmâerique du Nord. 6aBiologie de la conservationzAmâerique du Nord.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans, eissuing body.2 aPacific Biological Station (1972- ),eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=dd80f6b1-c522-4836-a8a2-8d01283e012670zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/mpo-dfo/Fs97-4-3258-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70 a92bNLC04538cam 22006257i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139020001800160020001500178035002200193041001800215042002000233043001200253045000900265082001500274084001700289084001700306084001800323086002200341100002900363245014700392264008600539264001000625300008300635336002600718337002600744338003600770490007900806500012200885504005301007500005601060506007501116520158001191550006702771550006702838596004102905650005002946650005902996650005603055650004803111650004603159650005503205650005703260650006003317710008103377710008103458856017803539856018303717994001203900on1367326198OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||230120t20232023oncab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301620372can a9780660471983 a0660471981 a(OCoLC)13673261980 aengaengbfre alacderivedalac an-cn-on ay2y21 a333.95215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aFs97-13/1364E-PDF1 aLeBaron, Anita,eauthor.10aTargeted sampling for pugnose shiner (Notropis anogenus) in eastern Lake Ontario coastal wetlands, 2021 /cby Anita LeBaron and Scott M. Forty-four sites were sampled in Presqu'ile Bay (n = 13), Wellers Bay (n = 11), West Lake (n = 13), and East Lake (n = 7). Sites were located in areas of vegetated habitat near the sites of previous wetland fishes at risk surveys. Fishes were collected using three consecutive passes of a Mamou (surface) trawl over a 50 m transect. Eighteen species (4,085 individuals) were detected, including Pugnose Shiner, Bridle Shiner (Notropis bifrenatus; Species at Risk Act (SARA): Special Concern), and four recreationally important species. Pugnose Shiner (363 individuals) was collected from 70% of sites across all water bodies; the species was most abundant in West Lake and present at all sampling sites. Bridle Shiner (277 individuals) was collected from 64% of sites across all water bodies; the species was most abundant in East Lake and present at 86% of sampling sites. Length-frequency distributions indicate ongoing recruitment and multiple age classes for both species. At Bridle Shiner and Pugnose Shiner collection sites, water clarity was high, water depths were between 0.7 and 1.8 m, substrate material was largely organics and sand, and submerged vegetation cover was dense. Dominant submerged plant taxa were wild celery (Vallisneria americana) and stonewort (Chara spp.)"--Abstract, page vii. aIssued by: Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Prairie Region. aIssued by: Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Ontario Region. a3f7d2351-828d-415a-be90-7b8995da3a2e 0aPugnose shinerzOntario, Lake (N.Y. and Ont.) 0aPugnose shinerxHabitatzOntario, Lake (N.Y. and Ont.) 0aRare fishesxHabitatzOntario, Lake (N.Y. and Ont.) 0aFish surveyszOntario, Lake (N.Y. and Ont.) 6aMâenâe camuszOntario, Lac (N.Y. et Ont.) 6aMâenâe camusxHabitatzOntario, Lac (N.Y. et Ont.) 6aPoissons raresxHabitatzOntario, Lac (N.Y. et Ont.) 6aInventaires ichtyologiqueszOntario, Lac (N.Y. et Ont.)1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bPrairie Region, eissuing body.1 aCanada.bDepartment of Fisheries and Oceans.bOntario Region, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=3f7d2351-828d-415a-be90-7b8995da3a2e70zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/mpo-dfo/Fs97-13-1364-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70 a92bNLC03689cam 22005297i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043003000202045000900232082001500241084001700256084001700273084001800290086002100308100002600329245009600355264005200451264001000503300005700513336002600570337002600596338003600622490003400658500012300692504005300815506007500868520141800943596004102361650004002402650004302442650003102485650003102516650006502547650006002612710004802672856017802720856019302898856005603091994001203147on1367326220OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221109t20222022onca ob f000 0 eng d aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301622662can a(OCoLC)1367326220 alacderivedalac an-cn---an-cn-bcan-cn-on ay2y21 a363.34215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8853E-PDF1 aHobbs, T.E.,eauthor.12aA selection of earthquake scenarios for government planning purposes in 2021 /cT.E. They were requested from Natural Resources Canada, which holds federal subject matter expertise on seismic hazard and risk, by Emergency Management British Columbia and the Government Operations Centre in Ottawa, and are presented in an Open File report to allow for appropriate review and documentation. While the events were developed for particular government agencies, the scenarios are relevant for other applications and hence their documentation may be useful to other emergency management, planning, and preparedness organizations, and to the broader public. This file presents a description of the impacts due to the following scenario earthquakes: a moment magnitude (Mw) 7.0 event in the Strait of Georgia near Vancouver, BC; a Mw 7.3 event on the Leech River Fault near Victoria, BC; and a Mw 7.5 event in Gatineau, QC, near the nation's capital. The seismic hazard and risk assessment is performed in the same manner as the National Seismic Risk Assessment, which leverages the current best understanding of: seismic sources and ground motions, site conditions, exposed assets, and fragility curves. In this document, sources will be cited as appropriate to support the scientific description of the events, but the text will generally be aimed at a non-technical audience"--Introduction, page 1. a5f459177-0f85-4437-8978-ad567ffdbd52 0aEarthquake hazard analysiszCanada. 0aBuildingsxEarthquake effectszCanada. 0aEarthquake damagezCanada. 6aRisques sismiqueszCanada. 6aConstructionsxEffets des tremblements de terre surzCanada. 6aDommages causâes par les tremblements de terrezCanada.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=5f459177-0f85-4437-8978-ad567ffdbd52zFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8853-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/329397 a92bNLC02850cam 22004933i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139020001800160020001500178035002200193042002000215043001200235084001700247084001700264084001800281086002300299245014700322246009600469264012000565264001000685300003500695336003100730337003400761338004300795500014000838500014800978500002101126506008201147596004101229610006501270650006201335650006301397710008701460775024001547856017801787856018101965856019802146994001202344on1367326233OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||230119t20232023quc o f000 0 fre d aNLCbfreerdacNLCdNLC a202301663502can a9780660471839 a0660471833 a(OCoLC)1367326233 alacderivedalac an-cn--- acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aEn84-325/2023F-PDF00aConsultations sur les modifications proposâees concernant la dâeclaration des gaz áa effet de serre pour 2022 et 2023 :bdocument de râeponse.1 iEn tãete du titre :aProgramme de dâeclaration des gaz áa effet de serre du Canada (PDGES). 1aGatineau (Quâebec) :bEnvironnement et changement climatique Canada = Environment and Climate Change Canada,c2023. 4cÃ2023 a1 ressource en ligne (9 pages) atextebtxt2rdacontent/fre ainformatiquebc2rdamedia/fre aressource en lignebcr2rdacarrier/fre aDiffusâe par le Programme des âEditions et Services de dâepãot du gouvernement du Canada (Liste hebdomadaire des acquisitions 2023-04). aPubliâe aussi en anglais sous le titre : Consultations on proposed changes for 2022 and 2023 reporting of greenhouse gases : response document. a"Janvier, 2023."0 aAccáes en ligne sans restrictions.fUnrestricted online access.2star5CaOONL aa9a2e225-61b2-42ea-aa02-b4db9ba9dad220aProgramme de dâeclaration des gaz áa effet de serre (Canada) 6aGaz áa effet de serrexPolitique gouvernementalezCanada. 6aPolluantsxSignalementxPolitique gouvernementalezCanada.1 aCanada.bEnvironnement et changement climatique Canada, eorganisme de publication.0 tConsultations on proposed changes for 2022 and 2023 reporting of greenhouse gases.dGatineau QC : Environment and Climate Change Canada = Environnement et changement climatique Canada, 2023z0660471825z9780660471822w(OCoLC)1367325904403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=a9a2e225-61b2-42ea-aa02-b4db9ba9dad2zFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/eccc/En84-325-2023-fra.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://www.canada.ca/fr/environnement-changement-climatique/services/changements-climatiques/emissions-gaz-effet-serre/declaration-installations/consultations/reponse.html a92bNLC03009cam 22004697i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043002100202082001400223084001700237084001700254084001800271086002100289100003000310245015000340264005200490264001000542300008500552336002600637337002600663338003600689490003400725500012200759504005500881506007500936520092901011596004101940650003201981650003902013710004802052856017802100856019302278856005602471994001202527on1367326234OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20212021oncab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301621932can a(OCoLC)1367326234 alacderivedalac an-cn-onan-us---1 a551.3215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8818E-PDF1 aLewis, C. The samples were obtained during the early 1960s and 1970s in surface grabs, cores and boreholes. Dive observations of lake bed conditions were obtained at some sample stations. Acoustic profiles collected at 14.25 kHz during the sampling and coring expeditions provided information on the stratigraphy of the offshore finer-grained sediment units, and the depth to glacial sediments. Selected echogram profiles are compared with cored sediment sequences and other profiles are combined with lower frequency seismic reflection traverses to provide cross-sections of interpreted bedrock surface and sediment configuration beneath Lake Erie"--Abstract, page 2. af12b6c2c-9c0d-4ce6-9aed-bcad04968164 0aLake sedimentszErie, Lake. 6aSâediments lacustreszâEriâe, Lac.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=f12b6c2c-9c0d-4ce6-9aed-bcad0496816470zFormat(s): PDF403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8818-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/328829 a92bNLC02486cam 22005057i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202045000900214082001500223084001700238084001700255084001800272086002100290100003000311245020400341264005200545264001000597300007800607336002600685337002600711338003600737490003400773500012200807504005100929506007500980520021101055596004101266650005901307650002501366650006601391650003601457710004801493856017801541856019301719856005601912994001201968on1367326247OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221108t20212021oncab ob f000 u eng aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301634162can a(OCoLC)1367326247 alacderivedalac an-cn-nf ay2y21 a551.46215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8840E-PDF1 aKostylev, V. In this work, we analysed and compared HF FPW samples from different well locations as well as FPW samples from a single well over time. The results provide vital information to assess the reusability of flowback water and guide treatment options. Additionally, this work has the potential to provide guidance on best practices for HF fluid additives for future reuse as well as provide a more complete understanding of FPW chemical makeup to guide treatment options. While reuse of FPW is desirable, it is not feasible in many operations. In these scenarios, transportation for offsite treatment or disposal increases the risk of an environmental spill of FPW. This work will provide data to aid clean-up efforts and determination of the environmental fate of FPW contaminants. Overall, this work will provide economic benefits to the oil and gas sector by increasing FPW reuse which decreases wastewater disposal costs and reduces environmental impacts of HF operations by decreasing the volume of used surface water and risk of FPW environmental spills"--Executive summary, page ii. ad68c882f-cd18-4bb2-8569-27a05bcabb1c 0aGroundwaterzAlbertaxAnalysis. qu'une meilleure connaissance de la langue parlâee dans le pays de destination amâeliore les râesultats des immigrants sur le marchâe du travail. Lithalsas, widespread in this region, are therefore very sensitive to thawing"--Abstract, page 1. a3844463e-69af-4d1f-9973-139941c2d56d 0aPermafrostzNorthwest Territories. 6aPergâelisolszTerritoires du Nord-Ouest.2 aGeological Survey of Canada, eissuing body.403Bibliotháeque et Archives Canada / Library and Archives Canadauhttp://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.redirect?app=damspub&id=3844463e-69af-4d1f-9973-139941c2d56dzFormat(s): PDF70403Government of Canada Publications / Publications du gouvernement du Canadauhttps://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2023/rncan-nrcan/m183-2/M183-2-8869-eng.pdfzFormat(s): PDF70403electronic resourceuhttps://doi.org/10.4095/329643 a92bNLC02747cam 22004937i 4500001001300000003000600013005001700019006001900036007001500055008004100070040002800111015002100139035002200160042002000182043001200202082001500214084001700229084001700246084001800263086002100281100003600302245012500338264005200463264001000515300004200525336002600567337002600593338003600619490003400655500012300689504005500812506007500867520060900942596004101551650003601592650004801628650003801676650005201714710004801766856017801814856019301992856005602185994001202241on1367326352OCoLC20230208213019.0m o d f cr cn|||||||||221114t20222022oncb ob f000 0 eng d aNLCbengerdacNLCdNLC a202301625922can a(OCoLC)1367326352 alacderivedalac an-cn-nu1 a551.46215 acoll142lacc acoll292lacc acci1icc2lacc1 aM183-2/8861E-PDF1 aBennett, R.q(Robbie),eauthor.10aDistribution of slope failures in eastern Baffin Island fiords, Nunavut /cR. This was done by interpreting all existing multibeam echosounder and Huntec data that was of sufficient quality to observe these features. Databases were created that record a geographic position for each interpreted feature, as well as various observed characteristics and physical measurements that will be discussed later in this report. In addition to the identification of slope failures, the occurrence of seabed ice scour and sediment waves were also mapped at the same time"--Introduction, page 1.
