Using bivariate and multivariate analysis of the 1995 Survey of Work Arrangements (SWA), the characteristics of employers, jobs and individuals that influence the chances of being entitled to coverage are identified. In the conclusion, we begin to explore the potential of the NLSCY (National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth) by linking selected environment variables such as household income to child outcomes such as motor and social development.
