Environmental impact issues in the transformation of existing apartment into "Ecoresidences" at macdonald Campus of McGill University / Prepared by Daniel Pearl and Mark Poddubiuk. : M91-7/448-1999E

The EcoResidence Project is located on Macdonald Campus of McGill University in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue at the western tip of the island of Montreal. The project consists of a renovation of an existing 60 apartment student residence building (originally called Robertson Terrace) built over 30 years ago. The renovation process places emphasis on environmental performance, through the re-use of existing facilities, the re-use and recycling of materials, the introduction of suitable environmental initiatives (or at least the minimal infrastructure to allow these items to be easily added in the future) and the improvement of energy performance.--Page i
