It describes the consultations that took place with stakeholders having an interest in youth development and school-work transitions, and summarizes consultation recommendations. It presents a short overview of the objectives of the survey and its design. It presents information about the integration of the 15-year-old cohort with the Programme for International Student Assessment. The content of the survey is described and placed into context through a review existing literature on selected themes relevant to school-work transitions. Examples of possible research questions that could be addressed with data from the survey are presented.
