The Table is intended to respond to Canadian domestic spectrum requirements; consequently it reflects the Department of Communications' spectrum allocation and utilization policies developed through public consultation procedures. It will be noted, therefore, that the Canadian Table differs, where necessary, from the ITU [International Telecommunication Union] Table.--Foreword
