This paper addresses woman abuse by intimate male partners. The following forms of abuse by male partners are included: psychological, emotional and physical. Both prevention and treatment were examined. Primary emphasis was placed on general and physical health services, rather than mental health, which would require a separate analysis to be comprehensive.--Introduction
