  • This “unofficial” history of Canada and the Korean War tells the story of the conflict through the eyes of those Canadians who fought it. Through photographs and selections from personal and official correspondence, it provides an account of the soldiers’ experiences, from the perceptions of the Lieutenant-Colonel of the first Canadian Army unit to land in Korea, in 1950, to an officer’s record of the morning after the 1953 armistice.
